I understand there is a US made drone company vying for the only US sourced manufacturer that might be part of the reason to dis DJI. I hear that company is not as advanced as DJI. That's not true. It will warn you that it's within certain class airspace but a licensed part 107 pilot can request ATC clearance, just like any other pilot can. If equipped with a proper transponder it will send its location but there's nothing to stop it from flying there. The "fence" is for government locations, such as the Whitehouse, where they are never allowed.
